About the Artist

Prithvi approaches painting as an exploration of perception — blending illusions of reality with tactile textures to create works that feel both direct and enigmatic. His practice is rooted in an appreciation for the nature of oil paint itself, using minimal gestures to evoke atmosphere, movement and narrative. Highly awarded and academically accomplished, he has received multiple gold and silver medals from institutions such as IIT Kanpur, Jamia Millia Islamia and the College of Art, Delhi. Since 2014 he has exhibited widely across India and internationally, with his work featured in numerous exhibitions, publications and cultural platforms.
