About the Artist

Candy’s practice is rooted in playfulness, intuition and expressive mark-making. Influenced by her urban upbringing in Hong Kong and the calmer pace of Melbourne, she blends vibrant colour with loose, energetic brushstrokes to communicate joy and emotional immediacy. She experiments widely across mediums, with oil painting currently at the centre of her studio practice, particularly in still-life works that preserve meaningful objects and moments. Alongside her fine art, she has built a strong career in live event illustration and calligraphy, working with leading luxury brands and major events across Australia.
