About the Artist

Working primarily with steel and iron, Mark’s practice is grounded in traditional blacksmithing techniques and a strong respect for material. His works often reference Baltic mythology and sacred symbols associated with protection, home, and continuity, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. Through Forest Metalworks, his pieces are now collected internationally, carrying Baltic cultural heritage into modern living spaces.

Created in tribute to the artist’s close friend Stas and his family, following the artist’s visit to Ukraine in 2016.
