About the Artist

Originally from Tasmania, Amy draws heavily from the raw, untamed beauty of the landscapes she grew up in. With a background in botanical studies and a lifelong habit of collecting natural treasures, she transforms organic materials into symbolic, narrative-rich artworks. Since moving to Naarm/Melbourne, her practice has deepened through exploring Victoria’s diverse environments, resulting in dreamlike compositions built on abstract colour fields and meticulously detailed natural forms. Her work sits at the intersection of nature, memory, and surrealism, encouraging viewers to slow down and reconnect with the quiet wonders of the natural world.
