About the Artist:
For over twenty years, Mishfit has carved out a distinctive place in the urban art landscape, painting internationally from Melbourne’s laneways to major European festivals. Her work merges classical techniques with street art energy, resulting in vibrant, layered compositions that carry both grit and refinement. Drawing on old masters, Japanese ukiyo-e, surrealism, retro-futurism, and mythology, she has developed a visual language centred on luminous cloudscapes and obscured figures that serve as metaphors for human emotion. Themes of empowerment, transformation, escapism and resilience run through her practice, shaped by years spent challenging the male-dominated graffiti scene and reclaiming space through powerful female imagery.
About the Artwork:
Bring depth and drama to your space with this epic skyscape, awash with delicate peaches, warm neutral tones, and fresh cooling blues, fractured by geometric transitions that offer a shift in perspective and hint at a breach in reality. Echoes of a world unsettled by climate change and AI ripple through the piece, challenging us to question: in an ever‑changing reality, can we weather the storm?
Inspired by the artist’s own sunset photography along the rugged West Australian coastline.
