About the Artist

Originally trained as an architect in Chandigarh and later in Australia, Komal gradually transitioned from designing spaces to painting them. Her practice evolved through years of mural work, interior art projects and teaching, eventually leading her to a deeper connection with animals and the lessons they embody. Her paintings combine architectural sensitivity with emotional warmth, using acrylics to create dreamlike environments anchored by the grounded, present-moment awareness of animals. Through this blend of structure and serenity, she encourages viewers to pause, reflect and reconnect with presence.
